This morning a friend and I watched (through a special $3.50 solar eye piece) the eclipse of the sun from Plimmerton. I decided to see whether my camera could capture the unfolding changes in the light. My camera was definitely not fussed on taking the images pointing into the sun (and the more difficult with me trying not to look directly at the sun), so I tried taking reflections of the eclipse in my friend’s pool (which is needing its seasonal clean). I like the contrasting colours of green and blue.

Hi there
Thank you for liking my blog and for the encouragement. My life offers so many images to take that it is difficult to keep up!
Hi there
Thank you for your feedback. While kind of scary putting yourself out there, it is great to get encouragement to continue!
Hi there
Thank you for your encouragement! Sometimes it is easy to get carried away with Photoshop (and the like), when it is better to let the original image speak for itself.
