I was pleasantly surprised at how this photo turned out of the sunlight playing on the incoming tide and this piece of seaweed during a seaside visit with my boys to Whitirea Park last week. I thought I would enhance the image, but still prefer the original.
Words today are like the shells and rope of seaweed which a child brings home glistening from the beach and which in an hour have lost their luster.

Hi there
Thank you for your comments. I didn’t realise until I got home and put the image onto the computer how well the light had played on the sea and seaweed. I was interested to see if I could enhance the image more – as I do like to tinker – but as usual I do have to remind myself that the original image can be itself.
